The current version runs entirely in your browser and does not require an account. Future versions may add accounts, team features, or paid plans, and those features will be governed by these terms plus any additional terms presented at sign-up.
Acceptable use
You may use BatesTool only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms. You agree not to:
- Upload, process, or distribute malware, viruses, or harmful content.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code of BatesTool.
- Use BatesTool to infringe intellectual property rights, violate confidentiality obligations, or breach court orders.

Your responsibilities

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BatesTool and its operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to errors in numbering, lost documents, or reliance on the tool for legal filings.
